It’s that time of year again! Our team here at Flex Audiology couldn’t be more excited to announce the winner of our Hear for the Holidays giveaway.
If you’re not familiar with Hear for the Holidays, the tradition began in 2009 as a way for one audiology clinic to give back to their patients. Now, many clinics across the United States and Canada carry on the tradition year after year. We’re proud to participate!
As you may know, hearing loss can be especially difficult around the holiday season. Our goal is to provide hearing support to someone who needs it most.
To enter the competition, friends and loved ones nominated someone in their lives with a hearing loss through video and written submissions. The giveaway winner receives audiological care and hearing aids. As much as we wish we could select everyone who is nominated, we can only choose one winner.

We are so excited for Hilary – she deserves this, as you can see by the submission we received from her loved ones:
There is no kinder, more compassionate individual in the world. She cares greatly about her community and their personal and spiritual growth. In that journey, she puts others before herself. This puts hearing aids and their costs often out of reach for her and her family. There is no one more deserving of generosity.
Just two days after we received this submission, we got a call from Hilary letting us know that one of her hearing aids had broken again.
Her current hearing aids are more than ten years old, and we have been patching them up for the last three years. She was a new expectant mother when they first needed repairs. One week later, she reached out again, upset as she had inadvertently damaged the other hearing aid. Here was a young mother with a 2-year-old little boy and severely reduced hearing. We felt this was divine intervention and knew that Hilary was meant to be our winner!
She came in thinking we were going to fit her with loaners while she figured out how to pay for a new set of hearing aids. To say we were both excited when we let her know she was our winner was an understatement!
We’re so excited to see what the future holds for Hilary without her old hearing aids holding her back.
