Welcome to our Hearing Clinic near Dillsboro, IN
If you're looking for an audiologist near Dillsboro, you're probably comparing more than who sells hearing aids. You're deciding where to go for hearing care that will continue to support you long after your first appointment.
Because Dillsboro has relatively few local audiology options, many residents compare providers in nearby communities like Lawrenceburg and Batesville or wonder whether an over-the-counter hearing aid might be enough. Those are important decisions, especially since hearing care often involves more than a single visit. Your hearing can change over time, hearing aids may need adjustments, and having an audiologist who knows your hearing history can make ongoing care much simpler.
Our Lawrenceburg office is a short drive from Dillsboro via US-50 and provides comprehensive audiology services, including diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings and programming, tinnitus evaluations, and long-term hearing care. Rather than focusing only on hearing devices, we take the time to understand the communication situations that matter most to you, explain your results clearly, and recommend evidence-based solutions that fit your lifestyle and hearing goals.

Audiology & Hearing Care Services
Audiology & Hearing Care Services
Many people begin searching for an audiologist after noticing that conversations have become harder to follow, particularly in groups or around background noise. Others have already worn hearing aids and are frustrated that they still struggle at family gatherings, while watching television, on the phone, or around equipment and machinery.
A comprehensive audiology appointment helps determine whether the problem is hearing loss, earwax, device performance, tinnitus, or another issue that may require medical referral. It also gives you the opportunity to discuss the situations where hearing is most difficult instead of relying only on whether sounds seem loud enough.
Our services include:
Comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations
Hearing aid consultations and fittings
Hearing aid programming and adjustments
Tinnitus evaluations and management
Cochlear implant mapping
Auditory processing evaluations
Hearing protection recommendations
Ongoing follow-up care and device maintenance
Rather than recommending the same solution for every patient, we explain your results, discuss your communication goals, and help you understand the options available so you can make an informed decision.
Hearing Aids & Hearing Testing Services
Many people wait years before scheduling a hearing test because they assume hearing loss is simply part of getting older. Others have tried hearing aids in the past and were disappointed by poor fit, uncomfortable sound quality, or lack of follow-up care.
Today's hearing technology has advanced significantly. Modern hearing aids can automatically adapt to changing listening environments, reduce background noise, stream calls and music from smartphones, and be adjusted based on your individual hearing profile.
And while over-the-counter hearing aids may be appropriate for some adults with perceived mild-to-moderate hearing loss, they do not provide the same diagnostic evaluation or individualized fitting as audiologist-led care. If you are unsure which route makes sense, a hearing assessment can help you understand the degree and type of hearing difficulty before you buy anything.
Conditions like tinnitus also deserve careful evaluation. Ringing, buzzing, or other persistent sounds can occur with or without measurable hearing loss. Flex Audiology evaluates how tinnitus affects daily life and explains appropriate management options without promising a cure.
