Dr. Erica Person has owned and operated a private audiology practice since 2005, specializing in hearing aids and tinnitus management for adult and pediatric patients through an unbundled service model.
Beyond Flex Audiology, Dr. Person hosts The Unbundled Audiologist podcast, where she helps fellow private practice owners thrive in today’s evolving hearing care environment. She is a founding member and current president of the Indiana Audiology Coalition and has also served as president of the Audiology Practice Standards Organization.
In 2023, Dr. Person received the Joel Wernick Award at the ADA AuDacity Conference in recognition of her contributions to audiology. Beginning January 1, 2026, she serves as President-Elect of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA), bringing a national leadership perspective to the same high standards of care she provides her patients.

A Brookville, Indiana native, Dr. McCreary earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Audiology degrees from the University of Cincinnati.
She completed her audiology residency at University of Kentucky HealthCare, gaining extensive experience with pediatric and adult patients and a wide range of hearing and balance disorders. After completing her training, Dr. McCreary returned closer to home to serve surrounding communities.
